Ana Fernandez is a Spanish actress. Her most recent role was Carlota on the Netflix series Cable Girls. Ana Kristina Gasteyer was born in America. She is an actress also a singer, comedian and performer. Her most well-known work is her time as a member on the NBC sketch comedy program Saturday Night Live from 1996 to 2002. In the years since, she's played in sitcoms, such as ABC's Suburgatory and TBS's People of Earth and NBC's American Auto. She also starred on the movie Mean Girls. Gasteyer's career began in the prestigious Northwestern University. Initially, she was a voice major however, she switched to acting after becoming involved with an improv comedy troupe that was on campus. Her improv-loving spirit carried over into her roles in the roles of Sheila Shay, the overly-controlling character from Suburgatory and Karen Grisham the agent on Lady Dynamite.
